Creepy design...

I'm just posting a picture of quite creepy nails that I did on myself last year.

Not sure what I make of them...there's something quite ugly about this design!!

The design is done on pink glitter acrylic extensions.

Acrylics for night out :)

New acrylics for my friends birthday night out! :) I use dream acrylic products from essential nails. Thinking of changing them though, as the finish is 2 pale and matt for my liking. But they will do for my training I suppose!

Nails before. Small nail bed...ergh!
 Nail tips applied....
 and then cut!
Buffed, dehydrated and primed ready for acrylic application.
Finished without varnish.

Fillo design encased in the acrylic. First time that  have done this, so this nail had a much thicker application, due to the fact that I am not a pro!!

Blue eye make-up

I love make-up. I have to.

I have ridiculously small eyes!!!! I need all the trick possible to make them appear larger!

Here is my old look. Think I may go back to this. This was a trio set from a No7 blue trio, that I do not think are in production any longer. But any blue combination with similare colours will do.

3 of my favourite products.

There are some products that I will stick with permanently. I will show a couple of the nail related products first.

I will begin with the first port of call in a manicure. This is something I have only recently encountered, and it is brilliant.

Cuticle file remover: is fantastic. You dip the end in warm water, and it then scours away
gently the excess cuticle with ease.

Base coat: I always use the OPI natural nails base coat. I feel this works the best for me.

Top coat: I am absolutely in love with Beauty secrets fast dry top coat. It worls even better than
                 Rapid dry by OPI!!

My french manicures.

I am going to log what I use for my french manicures.

For the french tip, the best white that I have found is Alpine snow by OPI. The pink I use is Rosy future by OPI.

Rosy future is the most beautiful pale pearly pink, and looks stunning on the French manicures. My clients love it.

This is a manicure I did on a client. This still does not show how amazing the pink is!!

OPI Senorita Rose-Alita - EXCITED!!

I got a mini haul from Sally's beauty supplies on Friday...unfortunately I missed the VAT free day boat the day before...:(

I needed to re stock my favourite top coat, a cuticle file remover, and had run out of 180 grit nail files. This was my intended shopping list.

And then I saw it.

The most beautiful pink polish I have ever seen.

So I talked myself around to spending a teeny bit more.

Senorita rose-alita by OPI is stunning. It is a rich rosy pink with a fine golden flecked sheen in the sun light. These pics do not do it justice.

Unfortunately for me...I have incredibly small nail beds, and my nails are resisting growth...so there is no other option. Acrylics will be under construction in the very near by future!
This just about pics up some of that golden sheen. So much prettier in person.

Dance comp make-up and hair.x

My daughter does a lot of dancing. For her Ballroom latin competitions (when she still did them) I had to do her hair and make-up. Also for her freestyle comps. :)

Here are a couple of things I have done.
