Now that I have settled into my new job, and life has calmed a little, I am back in full force. :)

Garnier ultralift challenge

Now, I did the trial, following it religiously every day. I do not have wrinkles around my eye area, but I am the unlucky owner of prominent laughter lines around my mouth. Which are the bane of my life! 

So I was very much hoping to see a difference, and then I would have bought the full sized product. 

What actually happened was my face felt velvety soft for the 12 days! I did not see a noticable difference in the depth of my lines. Just healthier looking skin. 

Now, we all know that moisturising the skin is key to preventing lines and wrinkles. Most good creams and lotions do the job well.

I see this as a glorified moisturiser. Saying this, it gives such a lovely feel to your face, that I would like it as a moisturiser, to be used as a PREVENTATIVE, rather than a cure for
existing lines.

Bitten nails no more! :D

Hi everyone. Can anyone remember my sisters appalling bitten nails? How beyond repair they seemed?

Well...I am very excited to say that they are growing strong, and therefore I was able to do a FRENCH MANICURE on them!!

You cannot imagine how frustrating the years have been, where I could only sit and watch her gnawing on what was left of those nails. Unable to have free reign with polish on them!! 

So I am very happy!! :D

Creative eye make up

Just practicing creative eye make up on my daughter. :)

Crazy feather false lashes

I was bored the other night...so decided to put my new crazy feather eyelashes to the test. I also used my new accessorize eye shadows which I have been dying to try out. All three items were an absolute bargain. The lashes were reduced for £1, and the eye shadows were in a kit a won at my children's school bingo the other day!! :D


Unfortunately, I didn't have very good lighting, so the pictures are not as clear as I would like. But never mind. Maybe it just gives me the excuse of re creating the look at a better lit day!

Bingo success! :)

On Friday, my children's school held a PTA fund raising Bingo. Of course my daughter desperately wanted to go, so the 3 of us trooped a long. 


Although we did not win with our bingo numbers, we did win with the raffle! 4 times!! The last number that met one of our 2 strips was a tin of loose tea. I kindly gave this to my friend who had to run around after us collecting our prizes. She deserved compensation due to the fact we had to leave half hour before the end!


My daughter won a bubble bath set with lotions and an eye shadow, my son won a Cars jigsaw puzzle. I won a set of make - up and body lotions from accessorize. :) 


I feel lucky...and a little bashful...because my friends and very few people who attended in general, won anything. And we won 4 times!! :D 


We bought 3 bingo books for £3.00 and the 2 strips of raffle tickets for £2.00. I think the Accessorize set well made up for that and more. :)

OPI and China Glaze bargains! :D

I am sooooo excited. Yesterday I popped over to my local Sally's beauty supply, to purchase 1 nail polish. Just 1.


Yet the universe had different ideas, and placed me smack bang in the middle of a sale!!


So...I spent £15 on all these polishes, saving me £10 approx!

 Reduced twice!!

Can you believe this price??!! I bought 2!! :D
